Your Request Has Been Sent!

Your online meeting confirmations request was sent successfully. Within 48 hours, you will receive an email at the address you provided confirming or denying your attendance at the meeting.

There is no charge or fee for your confirmation, but using a third-party professional service to insure delivery of your confirmations is an extra expense for StepChat. Please consider making a donation to help us offset that monthly expense.

Important Notice!
Please check your email account after 48 hours to make sure that you have received your meeting confirmation. Your confirmation email will be sent from the email address [email protected].

Notification of Denials. If for any reason we do not confirm your attendance at a meeting, you will be notified via email. We reply to all confirmation requests within 48 hours.

Check your Spam or Junk folder. If your cofirmation does not show up in your inbox please check your spam or junk mail folder. If this happens, please use the buttons in your folder to mark the messages as "Not Spam" or "Not Junk."

It's your responsibility to make sure that you are receiving your meeting attendance confirmations. If you do not receive the confirmation within 48 hours, you must resubmit the requests using an email address that does work. We respond to all confirmation requests within 48 hours, usually in less than 24 hours, but we cannot guarantee that your email provider will deliver them.

We are NOT spammers. We never send any unsolicited email to anyone. We do not promote StepChat via email and we have no advertising relationships.

We respect your anonymity. We understand the need for you to protect your anonymity by using free, web-based email services to obtain anonymous accounts to participate in 12-step activities online. The best way to insure that you receive your meeting confirmations, however, is to use a regular POP email account from your Internet Service Provider, not a free, webmail account.

Most ISPs allow you more than one email address with your account, so it is possible to set up an anonymous POP account that doesn't use your full/real name. Regardless, StepChat will not reveal the email address that you use to request meeting confirmations to anyone for any reason, unless you request us to do so.

You can help. Please submit your confirmation requests immediately after you attend your meetings, or at least daily. Waiting to let them accumulate and sending them in batches, only compounds the spam/quota potential problem.

We will not resend confirmations. We will no longer go back and resend meeting confirmations submitted weeks or months earlier. Do not wait until your court-ordered deadline is near to check to make sure you have received all of your confirmations. Check them daily or at least weekly to make sure they are being delivered.

We are volunteers. We don't charge for this service and we don't get paid to provide it. We are trusted servants of 12-step programs providing a service to the fellowship. StepChat.com relies on the self-supporting voluntary contributions to pay our expenses. We have no dues or fees.

We want to help you meet your legal obligations. We provide online meeting confirmation emails to help you meet your court-ordered obligations when attending face-to-face meetings is not possible and online meetings are allowed to substitute by the court. We will email confirmations to you in a timely manner, but we cannot and will not be held responsible if your email provider does not deliver them to your inbox.
